Q: What is an interesting fact about you that we would not find on your resume?
A: I built a year-round greenhouse with grow lights and heaters to grow things whenever I want 😊
Q: What was your first job?
A: Target as a cashier
Q: What does a typical weekend look like for you?
A: Doing homework for school, working in the garden, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and hanging out with my fiancée and our cats.
Q: What motivates you?
A: Truly patient care. Taking care of others is in my DNA. My grandmother was an activist and fought for equal rights, my mother is also in healthcare and volunteers and feeds the homeless since I was a child. So, fighting for others and speaking on disparities is a true passion for me.
Q: What is your favorite place you’ve ever travelled to?
A: Now I’ve never travelled outside of the US (yet), but Washington state has the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen! Soap Lake was something incredible to experience

A: My parents a new home wherever they wanted
Q: If you could be a pro at any Olympic Sport, which one would you choose?
A: I think I would choose ballooning lol. It’s not done anymore but hot air ballooning was a thing, and I think that would be so fun!
Q: How long have you been a BC?
A: I’ve been a BC for five years
Q: How did you become a BC?
A: The medical office I was working in needed one in a pinch so the FRM’s from various pharmaceutical companies came to help me out and taught me everything I needed to succeed!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Patient care is the number one. It gives me purpose everyday to know when I come into work, I make a difference. That and knowing that when my ideas effect change it keeps me motivated.
Q: What excites you about your involvement in BCoD?
A: The biggest thing for me is that I get to be involved in something bigger and work with like-minded individuals. I found BCOD’s website in 2023 and was able to get published in the magazine in 2024 and the blog in 2025, which has also been a passion of mine. But what I wanted more than anything was to be able to attend the conference and network with other amazing biologic coordinators. And two years later, not only did I get to attend, but I was a speaker and then asked to join the committee! It’s such a dream come true and shows that you should always go hard for your goals and dreams. The fact that I can have a hand in ideas to improve patient care, BCs, or pay forward the things I’ve learned, whether it’s about insurance, equity in dermatology, or even clinical data on biologics, is so amazing for me!
